Setting up Domino IQ
Domino IQ does have specific hardware requirements - predominantly that it needs to be running Windows Server or Linux with a GPU that supports Nvidia's CUDA technology. This can be provided on the AWS EC2 platform - the cheapest instance is the 'g4dn.xlarge' at time of writing.
The process covers a number of steps, including:
Installing the CUDA toolkit.
Installing Domino plugins from the HCL software portal to provide large language model support.
Downloading the LLM itself (we used Llama).
It also requires the Notes 14.5 client to allow access to the DominoIQ features.
