Let us introduce you to David, who’s been an Oval team member for nine years (he’s already asked the question ‘”will I get a watch when I hit ten….?”!!). During that time, he’s worked with numerous major clients, and made life a whole lot easier for all of them through his demon Domino skills.

What are your main tasks at Oval?
I develop and maintain IBM Domino-based applications for various clients, including a major insurance broker who I’ve worked alongside (and still do!) for most of my time here so far. Additionally I maintain and administer the IT infrastructure for Oval, and also provide consultancy services to other Oval clients in administering and developing their IT systems.

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
The thought that, if I don’t, I will be sitting in the car park that is the M25 in the mornings.

You can eat anything from anywhere, what is it?
A chicken tikka masala from Raj Tandoori in Caterham.  Awesome.

What was the first gig you went to?
Depeche Mode at Crystal Palace Arena in 1989. I’ve seen them 4 or 5 times since then too, I am a die hard fan!

The last book you read?
James May’s “Magnificent Machines: How men in sheds have changed our lives“.

One word that others might use to sum you up!
Sarcastic, maybe?
